Off-grid power systems
Off-grid power systems consist of solar modules, support structure, deep cycle storage battery bank, PPS manufactured interactive inverter, equipment housing and a generator set to provide reliable high quality off-grid power.
The interactive inverter functions as a system manager / controller and as an off-grid power supply as well as a battery charger, utilising pulse width modulated charging technology for optimum solar energy utilisation.
The solar modules convert the suns energy into DC power which is converted into grid quality AC power via the interactive inverter. The DC energy is stored in the deep cycle battery bank that has been optimised for solar applications.
Integral monitoring and control functions with alarm outputs and remote interface capabilities are available.
The solar module support structure is pre-fabricated in a kit form to enable rapid installation and to ensure a high quality installation finish.
The battery and inverter set are housed in a fibreglass enclosure, which has been specially designed to protect the components while providing good thermal characteristics.
